Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella by Fred Crump, Jr.
!!!!
I HAVE BOTH OF THESE 8D
Over the last year and a bit since I started posting my scribbles a little more actively to the internets I’ve had several messages asking have I read Robin McKinley’s book “Beauty- a retelling of the story of beauty and the beast” and up until yesterday the answer was no. Well not any more. I spotted it on amazon for under five quid while doing other Christmas shopping and finally gave in and oh my goodness it was so goddamn adorable! Thank you all who recommended it!
Quick pencil sketches and SAI.

another one of those disney princess coloring page thingies (like the one i did a few years ago). this is the coloring page i used and this is the inspiration for the palette/style. just a fun exercise! drew it with a normal tablet (as opposed to a cintiq) which was weird.
“Fantasy and reality often overlap.” - Walt Disney
With Ariel’s birthday fast approaching, the girls pitch in to bake her favorite pie. Cinderella and Belle look up the world famous recipe in a cook book. Tiana and Aurora pick the freshest berries to compliment the pie. Rapunzel and Snow White bake endlessly until it’s just right. Meanwhile, Mulan and Pocahontas decorate the palace for the big party. Little did they know, Ariel was more fascinated with the fork than the pie.
